Chief Thunder, awakened by a transmission from his wife, Bright River, learns their tribe has been watching his Killer Instinct tournament fights. Disheartened by his failure to find his missing brother Eagle, an activist against Ultratech, Thunder refuses to train with Orchid, contemplating quitting. He reveals Eagle joined the tournament to expose corporate corruption. Thunder’s resolve strengthens, setting up a dramatic continuation.
